It all started as a concept to bring marketing & design under one umbrella. We wanted our services to be more accessible for smaller businesses.
Through the combination of Claire’s expertise in Marketing and Beka’s creativity and design skills, The Renew Room was born.
We launched in August, 2020, and haven’t looked back since.
After having thought about going out on their own, Claire & Beka finally decided to put the wheels in motion and get The Renew Room off the ground.
We don’t like the word “agency” because the agency industry is often paired with burnout for young marketers and designers. It’s almost become the “norm” to be so stressed and busy. We’re here to change that.
The reason we try not to align ourselves with the word agency, is because of this culture. As mothers and natural empaths we wanted to create a business that aligned with our values. Not only for us, but for our future team and our clients.

Claire has both a creative and analytical mind and is a weapon when it comes to marketing. Her two passions are coming up with out of the box campaign ideas and analysing data. She is a Mum to a beautiful little girl & boy and you’ll often find her in Whangamata with her Partner & family whenever she can. She is a proud Māori and is passionate about looking after your wellbeing, te whare tapa whā.
What Claire has learnt in the past year: "Don't be strict on yourself with too many plans. Try to go with the flow. Set goals, but also be fluid in your response to your surroundings. Only put your energy & focus into what you can control."

Beka is an absolute machine. Her creative and design skills are not limited by industry or style. She has the unique ability to be able to work with any business and bring their vision to life. She has recently made the move to Queenstown with her husband and two beautiful girls – the perks of being able to work digitally!
What Beka has learnt in the past year: "That you have to do what you love and are passionate about... and everything will fall into place how it should."
Summer: An iced cold Sav, A Margarita or a creamy Ale
Winter: Red wine, make it mulled.
